Breastfeeding issues

I brought my 3 week old into Dr. Christina after my midwife suggested it. We were having difficulty with latching while breastfeeding and she would cry every time I tried to feed her on my the right breast. After talking with Dr. Christina and getting an evaluation done on my daughter, we decided to start care. Within a couple of visits she was latching on both breasts with no crying. We decided to continue care and start the whole family because we trust Dr. Christina and for over a year now, we have been thriving as a family of 4.

Colic and tired

My husband and I were at our wits end when we came into see Dr. Christina. A friend referred me because I am a first time mom and my baby would not stop crying unless I was hold him or feeding him. Dr. Christina made me feel so much better after talking to her and getting my little guy evaluated. Our pediatrician said he would grow out of colic but we were so tired and I felt awful for my baby. Her care for him was amazing! She is so gentle and patient and always connected with me to check on me too. It seemed like he just switched to being a happy baby after only a few visits. We were so happy and wanted to be as happy as he was so we joined in on the visits. As a first time mom, I don't have a village but Dr. Christina made me feel seen and heard and has helped me feel less crazy. I highly recommend her if you have a baby with colic or reflux, she is a life saver!

No more ear infections!

No more ear infections! I brought my 9 month old into Dr. Christina after he had suffered 3 rounds of ear infections in 3 months. I didn't want to put tubes in his ears with him being so little. I heard from a friend that her son saw a chiropractor and they helped reduce the frequency of ear infections. I had to try it out. Dr. Christina was so thorough with him and talked to us with professionalism but very warm. She did some scans on him and the nerves that go to his ears were lit up with red (which isn't good). It felt validating. We started care right away. I had a pediatrician appointment a few days later and when they looked in his ears, they were shocked to see that they weren't red with fluid in them. Since bringing him in my husband and I also got under care. We both sleep better, have more energy and don't get sick nearly as often as we did and my son is in daycare! Highly recommend!

She pooped!

There is nothing more frustrating than hearing your pediatrcian tell you its "normal" for your baby not to poop! My daughter was visibly uncomfortable and I did all the bicycles and gas drops and blah blah blah but she was in so much pain! I was scrolling Instagram and came across one of Dr. C's videos. She talked about how chiropractic can help babies poop. That blew my mind. No one had mentioned this before. I called and talked to her, voicing my concerns for chiropractic and babies. She assured me chiropractic for babies was nothing like it is for adults. My husband and I came in with our baby who was 6 months and hadn't pooped in a week. She was so fussy but Dr. Christina was so patient. She took her time. She did these scans that evaluate how the nervous system and nerves are working. It tells us is there is stress and sure enough there was stress in her nerves to her bowels. Dr. C adjusted her ONE time and she had the biggest blow out in her car seat. It took far too long to clean her seat but we were so happy she pooped! My baby was a happy baby again. We still take her to her to Dr. C because we want her and our family to thrive and if there is a bout of constipation, she gets adjusted and boom!

Army Crawling

My baby was learning to crawl and I noticed it was the army crawl and it didn't look right so I asked my pediatrician. They recommended PT so we did that but it didn't help. So I was talking to mom walk group and I met Dr. Christina. She explained that army crawling may be common but it is not normal, so I took my baby in to see her. She did a lot more than I'd seen anyone else do with my baby when she got examined. She explained that there was stress and tension on her nervous system and it would take some time but babies respond and adapt quickly. We started care right away. I'd say 3 or 4 adjustments later we noticed that my baby was getting up on all 4s to crawl. I was in shock. I didn't think it would work but it did! My little one is 18 months and we still take her in to Dr. Christina because she explained that milestones are important to hit and we want to make sure she hits them all when she's supposed to. We also got under care with Dr. Christina. We love her and recommend her to everyone!
