Dr. Christina Lowenthal
Chiropractic
Hi, I’m Dr. Christina Lowenthal, owner of Vitalise Chiropractic, a woman-owned family wellness practice in Virginia Beach, and a chiropractor with more than 10 years of experience serving families throughout the Hampton Roads community.
My passion lies in caring for pregnant women, babies, children, and families through gentle, neurologically focused chiropractic care. I am Webster Certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and continue my advanced education through ongoing training with the ICPA to better serve the unique needs of prenatal and pediatric patients.
Why Prenatal and Pediatric Chiropractic?
Early in my career, I realized that some of the most profound changes happen when we support the body before problems become lifelong patterns. Watching a mother experience a more comfortable pregnancy, helping a baby who struggles with sleep, tension, or feeding challenges, or seeing a child become more regulated and resilient inspired me to focus my practice on caring for growing families.
I believe that when we support the nervous system during pregnancy and childhood, we create a stronger foundation for health, development, and overall well-being.
My Approach to Care
The nervous system controls and coordinates every function in the body—from movement and digestion to sleep, immune function, emotional regulation, and healing. When the nervous system is under stress, the body may have a harder time adapting and functioning efficiently.
My goal is to identify areas of stress within the nervous system and help restore better communication between the brain and body through specific chiropractic care. By improving nervous system function, the body is often able to adapt, regulate, and heal more effectively.
At Vitalise Chiropractic, care is personalized, family-focused, and centered on helping individuals thrive at every stage of life.
Committed to Lifelong Learning
Healthcare is constantly evolving, and I believe my patients deserve the very best care possible. I regularly attend continuing education seminars, pediatric and prenatal training programs, and chiropractic conferences throughout the year to stay current on the latest research, techniques, products, and resources available to the families I serve.
Connected to the Community
Beyond the office, I am passionate about building relationships within our local community and supporting other locally owned and woman-owned businesses. I regularly attend health fairs, wellness events, and community gatherings throughout Hampton Roads, where I enjoy educating families about nervous system health and connecting with other local professionals.
I am also an active member of BNI COVA Connections, meeting weekly with a diverse group of trusted local professionals. These relationships allow me to connect patients with quality resources and providers when additional support is needed.
When I’m not in the office, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband and daughter, enjoying the beach, traveling, attending local events, or finding new ways to serve the community I love.
